The main goal behind the sponsorship of vocational centers is to provide an appropriate education in an atmosphere which fosters lifelong erudition and high expectations of achievement in the people of earthquake effected areas. The objective is to help earthquake effected widows and less advantaged women establish their lives and become self-sufficient. For this purpose HH USA established eight Vocational Training Centers (VTCs) in earthquake areas. Over 400 women are enrolled in these centers, Alhamdulillah. Most of the trainees started earning bread and butter for their families.
We also kept some of the products produced by these centers in ICNA convention this year for exhibition and selling these products to support earthquake survivors.

In an effort to support the earthquake survivors, we have also exhibited and sold some of the products created by these centers at the ICNA convention.
